Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a 2nd Class Welder with a background in steel fabrication for our precast manufacturing facility located in Edinburgh North. The role can be either casual or full time permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake duties related to mesh fabrication for precast concrete products
MIG welding
Inspect products and material for conformity with Quality standards
Operation of overhead cranes and other lifting equipment
Construct and repair metal products and structures
Read and understand basic drawings
Use of tools and machines to press, cut, shape, assemble, grind, plane bore and drill metal
Other associated duties

About you
The successful applicant will have:
Experience working with steel (essential)
Ability to weld
Forklift licence, if you have one - not essential
Highly motivated with a good work ethic
A positive attitude towards safety and training

Early starts and early finish - 6:00 am to 2.06 pm Monday to Friday (38 hours) with additional overtime hours where required.
