Job Description

The Role:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the growth of sales to new and existing customers. This position is suited to an individual with demonstrated experience working in the plumbing, construction or civil infrastructure industry. To be successful in this role you will be results driven, sales hungry and continuously motivated to exceed your sales targets!

This role focuses on fostering relationships with plumbers, councils, and contractors, ensuring that Civilmart’s products are the go-to choice for plumbing and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plumbers, construction companies, and councils.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers, ensuring the best solutions for their projects.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the civil, plumbing, and construction industries.
  • Prepare and deliver product proposals and tenders.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient order processing.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in external sales, preferably within the plumbing or construction industries.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and civil products, with the ability to learn Civilmart’s offerings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Queensland.
