The Planning and Production Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative components that support the manufacture and delivery of product for the Civilmart Poles Business nationally and meeting our customer requirements.
A pivotal business role, the Planning and Production Coordinator will use their expert knowledge of Civilmart Poles, systems, products, and services, to provide schedules that support the business and its customers. As well as maintaining the ERP system to assist in financial and stock management, as well as support the manufacturing team’s administrative tasks.
The Poles business is growing within Australia and therefore this role is available for an immediate start. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager based in Brisbane Queensland you will be a part of a supportive team that will continue to strive to meet the Australian market in concrete pole production.

- Problem-Solving: Being able to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions to meet those needs.
- Organisation: Strong organisational skills are necessary for managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring timely responses to customer queries.
- Attention to Detail: Being detail-oriented is important for accurately processing production schedules and manufacture drawing packages, maintaining records, and providing precise information to customers.
- Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with colleagues in production, engineering, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met efficiently
- IT Skills: Competent in using a centralised ERP system such as JD Edwards, SAP or ABM.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills are essential for interacting with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders professionally and respectfully with the Civilmart Team
What Skills and Experience do you need to shine in this role:
- Experience in production scheduling, and planning in a like minded industry
- Experience in the building/construction industry (or related – manufacture/supply-chain) is highly desirable
- Office administration type role with computer skills, Desirable JD Edwards or SAP.
- Qualifications in Business or Supply Chain management are desirable, but not necessary with the appropriate experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Production Planning role.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
- The ability to travel to manufacturing sites in Rockhampton and Brisbane infrequently is required
