The Production Team Operator plays a crucial role in all aspects of the production process. They assist in tasks such as casting, curing, demoulding, and finishing concrete pole products. Responsibilities may include operating machinery, handling raw materials, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety protocols. They collaborate with the production team to meet production targets, maintain equipment, and uphold quality standards.
The successful applicants will be working in the manufacturing plant as a labourer/operator and will need to be available to work 6am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday roster up to 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Operate in production areas as directed by the Leading hand/Production Manager
- Correct use of hand and power tools and other equipment
- Preform basic quality on the job checks to ensure compliance to customer specification and report failures to the site Supervisor
- Have a basic product knowledge
- Concrete finishing
- general labouring
- Undertake mould assembly & stripping lubrication of moulds
- Participate in production process as required by Leading Hands/ Production Manager
- Operation of various vibration methods employed on site
- Maintain and clean company equipment and facilities
- Conduct minor repairs to products and tools if skill set allows
