Job Description

The Opportunity:

As our NSW Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful fulfilment of key customer projects across New South Wales. You will lead, motivate and guide a team of Project Coordinators & Drafters, ensuring seamless execution from initial sales enquiry through to production, delivery, and on-site completion. This role is crucial in maintaining Civilmart's reputation for in-full, on-time delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project manager with outstanding people management and leadership skills to shape a newly established project management function and drive exemplary outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop winning tender solutions for major projects in collaboration with the State, Sales, and Estimating Managers.
  • Oversee the development of drawing approvals, QA packs (including ITPs), and production/delivery schedules once a tender is awarded.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings and actively engage with QA/QC for documentation collation.
  • Build and manage comprehensive project files, ensuring all critical information is accessible.
  • Liaise directly with customers' site project teams, establish priorities, and provide proactive communication on project status.
  • Provide technical support and advise on site to solve customer problems and address needs.
  • Lead, motivate and inspire your team of Project Coordinators, building a highly engaged, high performing team
  • Contribute to a strong WHS culture, ensuring compliance and promoting safe work practices.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Project Management or Sales roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading and/or managing a team, preferably in similar project management roles
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally, motivating and guiding your team to achieve key outcomes
  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans.
  • Knowledge of Aconex, Estimate One, and similar systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, project management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • A passion for innovation, customer satisfaction and a genuine growth-mindset
  • High work ethic, practical, and action-oriented approach.
  • Competence with Microsoft Excel and Office systems.
  • Valid working rights in Australia and an unrestricted driver's licence.
  • Ability to travel as required.
