We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team at Corbould Park, QLD. This is a casual position for an initial period of 6 months, with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
This is a key role responsible for managing the full accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collections, accurate reconciliations, and exceptional customer service.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things AR – from managing debtor accounts and processing payments to liaising with credit insurers and supporting end-of-month reporting. Following a one-month training period at our Corbould Park site, the successful candidate may transition to a hybrid work model - working onsite three days per week and remotely for two.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate reconciliations
- Send monthly statements, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve payment issues
- Review and process new customer credit applications and manage credit limits
- Liaise with external credit insurers and release or decline sales orders on credit hold
- Process credit card payments and refunds via EFTPOS
- Assist with management reporting and end-of-month accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate customer records, respond to enquiries, and uphold a tidy, safe work environment
