About the Role
Reporting to the National Commercial Manager (IPA-Wholesaler), you’ll be the primary point of contact for high-value clients and delivering commercial solutions that align with IPA’s strategic goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and contribute to national growth through data-driven insights and proactive account management.
Key Responsibilities
• Champion safety across all activities in line with IPA’s WHS standards
• Manage strategic client relationships and ensure contract compliance
• Identify growth opportunities within key accounts
• Lead pricing strategies, product support, and supply forecasting
• Deliver technical presentations and secure product specifications
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
• Ensure compliance with commercial policies and ethical standards
• Report on account performance, forecasts, and strategic updates
About You
• 5+ years’ experience in B2B account management or business development
• Proven success managing key accounts, tenders, and complex negotiations
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Industrial experience in plastics manufacturing (roto/injection moulding) preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret product drawings
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems (Epicor/Salesforce ideal)
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
• Valid Australian working rights and driver’s license
