The Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the review and negotiation of key contracts across the business, ensuring alignment with Civilmart’s commercial requirements and corporate guidelines. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will focus on contract pre-execution contracts, including tenders, negotiations, and risk assessment. Your collaboration with Sales, Finance, and senior stakeholders will be crucial in delivering commercially sound outcomes. Your ability to identify and optimize commercial opportunities, interpret complex agreements, and influence outcomes will make you a trusted advisor across the business. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your commercial and legal expertise to foster positive relationships at all levels, ensuring comprehensive contract management. Your responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders as well as customer.
• Overseeing and managing contract administration.
• Review and negotiation of customers contracts.
• Advising on contractual obligations and administration.

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract administration and commercial contract management, ideally within construction or infrastructure, including Tier 1 or Tier 2 exposure.
- Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with senior management and customers on contractual matters.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail, confidence in negotiation and decision making.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
