Customer Service Coordinator – Corio, VIC
Civilmart is an Australian-owned national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local government, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, and the plumbing and drainage market.
We are one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia, with operations across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA and 24 sites nationwide.
We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Civilmart Corio Pipes, supporting our Sales and Service Excellence functions. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our customers receive the highest standard of service and support from quotation through to delivery.
About the Role
The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing customer orders and enquiries, coordinating with Sales Representatives, Production, and Despatch teams to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and on time.
You’ll act as the key point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, accurate information, and proactive communication throughout the entire order process.
This is a full-time salaried position, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders and enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Create and follow up on quotes to ensure timely conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Transport and Despatch teams to enable on-time supply.
- Partner with Sales Representatives to understand key projects, timelines, and delivery requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in internal systems.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Purchase and manage stock levels of resale products.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements across customer service and logistics.
- Uphold Civilmart’s values and commitment to safety and excellence.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service within the building, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- A forklift licence or dispatch experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- A current driver’s licence is required;
