Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift , Shepparton Pipes

We are one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia, with operations across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA and 24 sites nationwide.
We’re currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Civilmart Shepparton Pipes. The successful candidate will support the Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
About the Role
The Production Supervisor will play a key leadership role within the Shepparton Pipes team. You will be responsible for organising staff, monitoring workflow, and ensuring production processes run smoothly and safely.
This hands-on leadership position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safety-focused work culture.

The afternoon shift is from 2.00pm – 10.30pm (afternoon penalty rates apply as per the Concrete Products Award 2020, with possible overtime opportunities)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager to plan, organise, and oversee daily production activities.
- Lead and motivate production staff to achieve output, quality, and safety targets.
- Monitor stock levels, materials, and equipment requirements to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Support workforce planning, including rosters, shift structures, and staff training needs.
- Assist with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of production employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Ensure consistent compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily and weekly production reports.

Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, precast, or civil production environment is essential.
- Proven supervisory experience leading production or operational teams.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound computer literacy – Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Current driver’s licence required; forklift licence highly regarded.
- A self-starter with a high work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
