We are renowned for being one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia! With our operations across QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA across 24 different sites!
We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to join our Penrith site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on supervising production staff, embedding a strong safety and quality culture, and ensuring operational KPI's are achieved.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading people on the floor, improving processes, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, on time, and to specification.
About the Role
As Production Supervisor, you will:

Provide line management to production staff, including coaching, performance management, and ongoing development

Lead a safety-first culture by identifying risks, conducting daily toolboxes, and ensuring safe work practices

Oversee daily production activities and report on key performance indicators

Ensure quality standards are met, including final product checks and accountability for output from your area

Plan and schedule stock production to meet customer delivery requirements

Ensure staff are trained and consistently manufacturing products to specification

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across operations

Participate in root cause analysis to address issues and drive improvement

Coordinate maintenance and repair activities through the Operations Manager to minimise production disruption
This is an on-the-tools role, working closely with the production team — not an office-based position.
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will bring:

Previous experience supervising or leading teams in a production or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies such as LEAN or 5S

A strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Solid working knowledge of basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience in precast manufacturing (highly regarded)
