Infrastructure Products Australia (IPA), as part of CRH’s Building Products division, are premier providers of engineered solutions for the Australian infrastructure market. The business operates across approximately 32 manufacturing sites under the Civilmart, Cubis Systems, Transfab and Poles brands, employing close to 1,000 employees nationally. Civilmart is a national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation, the plumbing, and drainage market.

The Role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will manage key strategic relationships with clients in the Tier 1 civil and infrastructure sectors across the Melbourne metropolitan region. In this role, you will secure project specifications early, negotiate high-value contracts, develop multi-year account plans, and drive sustained revenue growth across a complex infrastructure portfolio. You will also mentor sales representatives and project coordinators within the major projects team, while representing Civilmart at industry forums and pre-tender briefings.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 clients and major project client relationships
  • Develop multi-year account plans and negotiate high-value contracts and supply agreements
  • Secure product specifications at the planning and design phase alongside engineers and asset owners
  • Monitor delivery performance and manage risks to service, quality, and commercial outcomes
  • Mentor and support sales reps and coordinators within the major projects portfolio
  • Provide monthly performance reporting and strategic updates to the State Sales Manager

About You

  • 5+ years' B2B sales or account management experience in infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing
  • Proven track record managing Tier 1 accounts and delivering revenue and margin growth
  • Experience negotiating high-value supply agreements and preferred supplier arrangements
  • Confident engaging from project engineers through to executive procurement stakeholders
  • Exposure to telecommunications, rail, road, water, electrical, or gas sectors preferred
  • Familiarity with plastics or roto-moulding is an advantage
  • Strong CRM, forecasting, and reporting skills
  • Current driver's licence; regular travel to client sites across Victoria required
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or Marketing desirable but not essential.
