Job Description

The Role:

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Production Coordinator to assist the site based production and sales teams. The role will assist in efficient and timely flow of data entry and production procurement to ensure smooth business operation in an integrated ERP Environment.  The role is required to provide a high level of customer service, accurate business information whilst adhering to company management procedures and directives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Consult with the Production Manager to define and establish objectives, outcomes, and requirements
  • Maintain compliance with company polices, safety standards, and quality standards. “Stop the job” and intervene if there a any issues. Promote a ‘safety first’ culture
  • Monitor and control variables affecting production and ensure products are manufactured to an acceptable standard and in accordance with specifications.
  • Work closely with the QA lead and ensure all QC/QA tasks are carried out as needed. This will include coaching production team members in understanding the requirements. 
  • Notifying Production Team leaders, Manager & Quality Coordinator of any defective product.
  • Regular communications with team lead and production manager on raw materials, resources, and inventory levels. 
  • Liaise with the production manager to adjust production schedules as required. 
  • Data entry  and raising Purchase Orders

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Proven industry experience in a similar role is a requirement.
  • Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, 
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • High work ethic, practical, action orientated person
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management, directors and external contacts
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Reliably complete monthly routine cycle counts.
  • Perform other duties, as required, from time to time
